Elizabeth David themed breakfasts and dinners. As the most important cookery writer of the last century we will use recipes ED created and have Information and cookery tips from a few of her many books available to our guests to view, including ED’s Christmas.

During our first Feastbourne, here at the Langtons we are going to create some of Elizabeth David’s breakfast and dinner recipes from the 1950’s that arguably dragged post war Britain out of the ‘make do’ age of dried egg and spam.
Also on offer will be ‘delicacies’ from traditional British recipes in order to truly experience how she revolutionized the way we, as a nation, think about food.
Cited as a major inspiration by chefs as diverse as Nigella Lawson, Jamie Oliver and Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall, Elizabeth David was the original domestic goddess. Join us and get a ‘taste’.
